Tape & Reeling

Action Circuits specialise in the tape and reeling of surface mounted electronic devices, handling all package styles using standard carrier tape, with custom tape available at minimal lead time.

Our process transfers components from tube to tape, tray to tape or tape to tape, and is certified to ISO 9001:2015 with strict ESD standards protecting devices from static damage.

We operate a full range of reeling machines, including an ST595-2 with integrated co-planarity inspection, a Vtek TM-50, ST495, ST60, MT30 and MT50 with integrated vision inspection, plus a vibration hopper for difficult to handle parts. We hold a full range of SMD carrier tapes in widths from 8mm to 56mm, reeling onto 7 inch and 13 inch reels.

All devices are handled in a static, humidity and temperature controlled environment. We offer parallel processing across 12 reeling machines, giving the flexibility to process any order without notice, with capacity to reel in excess of 300,000 devices per day and a same day service available.
